Government Buildings in Plovdiv

Most of the public buildings were built between 1946 and 1989 when the country was under the control of the Bulgarian Communist Party, but there are several public buildings built in the period 1878 – 1885. The main administrative buildings in Plovdiv are the courthouse, the post offices, the municipality administrations and the library.
